La Sud Projects was formed in 2013 as a more streamlined service offering for the building repair and maintenance environment. After 20 plus years in a technical sales and projects environment it was becoming increasingly difficult to find reliable contractors. This prompted the directors to form an all-encompassing projects company with a more diverse offering. The most important difference with La Sud Projects however is that all work is personally designed, approved and project managed by the owners. This allows a very high level of workmanship to be maintained. We are a dynamic team offering solutions in most provinces of South Africa as well as cross border.
Over the last 2 years we have been contracted to refurbish large scale buildings that have been abandoned and neglected. And this is where we have found our passion. We are experienced in a full turnkey solution from rebuilding electrical infrastructure to digging and laying complete new municipal waterlines and drains, building of septic tanks where needed, complete refurbishing of large reservoir dams, building of fire hydrant and pump systems, complete new plumbing reticulation of buildings, large solar projects, hot water and PV and finally but most importantly ,for bringing an old building back to life, offering a high end commercial and residential painting service, including painting at heights.
There are many companies offering similar disciplines, but few that can offer all these services in-house, and to the high quality and service levels La Sud Projects has become known for.
Mark Aspeling, has 20 plus years sales and project management experience in technical sales and has been involved in large scale solar hot water projects, as well as solar PV projects throughout the country. Mark was also contracted to various municipalities as a renewable energy consultant and has a Project Management diploma from UCT.
Magiel Roodt, joined Lasud Projects two years ago and will be involved in NW Province / Free State and Limpopo
